ABOUT ADIDAS GOGGLES - ADIDAS ID2 PRO

The Adidas Pro is new for the 2011 ski season. It’s a winner from day one with an innovative twist on traditional skiing goggles.

Adidas have realised that a higher percentage of skiers and snowboarders are using their goggles for all weather conditions and not just in poor visibility or bad weather. The main reason being helmet wear is on the increase, and goggles tend to sit better with in a helmet than sunglasses, which can ride up off the nose.

The goggles are model off the ID2 award winning ski goggle but come complete with two sets of lenses.

The first lens is in the goggle, LST Bright (a bright orange lens), for low light / foggy / bad weather conditions. The second lens that comes with the ID2 Pro is uniquely designed to click onto the front of the goggle over the LST bright lens and brings the tint up to a category 3 lens for medium – bright sunlight. The second lens also comes complete with a mirror coating for improved depth perception and contrast.

The goggle strap on the Adidas ID2 Pro has been kicked out with a full helmet compatibility silicone layer that sticks firmly in place on top of your helmet, ensuring the goggle stays comfortably in one place as you ski.

Anti-fog coatings have been applied to both sets of lenses to ensure a fog free experience and the foam is nano-foam, a truly remarkable material that is hypoallergenic and stops water freezing on its surface.

The goggles are for small – medium faces and in many cases will also fit larger faces due to the flexing points where the strap is attached to the goggles, allowing for a better fit with helmets. We’d recommend this model for small to medium faces and if you are slightly on the larger size going to try the goggles on in a local retailer before purchasing and don’t forget to take your helmet into the shop!

Warranty and Returns

Adidas Goggles come with a 36 month manufactures warranty.

Within this period if you have a fault with your adidas Goggles that you consider to be covered by this warranty please forward the Snow Goggles to;

Pack your Adidas Goggles in a secure cardboard box and ship using an insured and tracked postal service. Within the parcel please include,

1) Your name, contact number and return address 2) A brief description of the fault 3) A copy of your dated receipt

It normal takes around 2 weeks for the manufacturers to return with a reply to whether or not your goggles are faulty under warranty. If the goggles are under warranty we will automatically advise Adidas to go ahead with the repair and forward the goggles back to you, if Adidas believe the repair does not fall under the warranty we will contact you.
