An insert is glazed with your prescription and clips behind the sunglass. One of the main advantages of using this type of correction is having the ability to change the colour of the lens you are looking through as the prescription is housed within the insert. This enables the wearer to have different lens colours for different light conditions, i.e. yellow/racing red for low light and a lazer black for bright light (go to spare lenses in the left tool bar for lens options). Removable insert also great for contact lens wearers. It normal takes around 2 weeks for the manufacturers to return with a reply to whether or not your Sunglasses are faulty under warranty.
