TERMS AND CONDITIONS

GENERAL

  1. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory right as a customer
  2. All logos, graphics, images and service names are property of extreme-eyewear.co.uk. We do not authorise any use of our trademarks for us with third parties unless an agreement is drawn up between ourselves and the third party.
  3. All goods are displayed as accurately as possible. We are not liable for your monitor not showing the colours accurately, nor the screen display size distorting the perception of any goods sold.
  4. All goods sold are new, unless stated otherwise.

PAYMENT

  1. Once we have received an order we will debit the customer as they have instructed during the payment process.
  2. If we are unable to for fill the delivery of a product we will refund the full amount back, via the same format that was initially used for payment. We will not authorise any further rebate or compensation.
  3. All our prices are inclusive of VAT.
  4. All payments must be made in pounds sterling.

PERSONAL DATA

  1. To value your privacy we follow the code of practice as detailed in the Data Protection Act 1998.

TRANSFERRING THIS CONTRACT

  1. The contract is solely between extreme-eyewear.co.uk and the customer; a customer can not transfer the contract.
  2. Extreme-eyewear.co.uk can transfer the contract to a third party if it is necessary in order to meet the requirements of an order.

DESPATCH AND RECEIVED GOODS

  1. A product is checked for damages, faults and missing parts before dispatch.
  2. A customer has 5 working days from receiving their goods to inform extreme-eyewear of any defect or missing items, if out of this time scale no responsibility falls on extreme-eyewear.

PRESCRIPTION INFORMATION

(RELEVANT FOR PRESCRIPTION CUSTOMERS ONLY)

  1. It is solely the customers responsibility to enter their prescription correctly, extreme-eyewear.co.uk take no responsibility for a product when the wrong prescription is supplied.
  2. A prescription is only valid if within 2 years old, if a prescription is supplied outside 2-years extreme-eyewear.co.uk take no responsibility or liability for the goods supplied.
  3. A prescription is only valid if carried out by a qualified, registered optometrist.
  4. If the customer is unsure about any details of their prescription it is their own responsibility to seek advice from a qualified optometrist.
  5. Extreme-eyewear.co.uk ‘Easy Ruler’ is used at the customers own risk, extreme-eyewear take no responsibility for misuse of the ruler leading to inaccurate results, and relieve themselves of any liability which may occur with the glasses and / or wearer resulting from an error in the measurements.
  6. We do not process orders for bifocals or varifocals.
  7. We do not process orders for any customer under the age of 18 (Eighteen years of age)
  8. We do not process orders for any customer who’s prescription exceeds – 7.00 or + 7.00 diopters.
  9. Due to the nature of prescription lenses extreme-eyewear can refuse to refund the full amount paid if any product is returned. Extreme-eyewear will always follow their returns policy.
  10. Extreme-eyewear.co.uk reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time and refund the customer. No compensation will be offered.

DELIVERY

  1. Delivery is to UK residents only, Royal Mail 1st class recorded delivery (If you require delivery outside the UK please call and we will quote on an individual basis).
    • Non-prescription sales – 5 working days
    • Prescription sales – 10 to 15 working days. Note: This increased delivery time is due to each pair of prescription glasses being made up using your unique measurements - you may wait slightly longer, but you get a superior product at no extra cost!

RETURNS POLICY

NON-PRESCRIPTION ITEMS

  1. After receiving a product you have 5 working days to return the item (s) for a full refund, minus the postage costs of delivering the parcel to yourselves.
  2. We are not responsible for assuring the return of the parcel so we would recommend sending it recorded.
  3. The product (s) must be returned in the same condition that we sent them out; unused, along with the original packaging, and manufacturer’s documentation.

PRESCRIPTION ITEMS

  1. If you are not happy with your prescription glasses and they are returned within 7 working days we will issue a full refund on the frame. We apologise that we are unable to offer a refund on the prescription lenses but unfortunately prescription lenses are individually made for a customers own requirements and as such are not resalable.
  2. Alternatively, we can issue a credit for the full amount to be used at extreme-eyewear.co.uk
  3. We are not responsible for assuring the return of the parcel so we would recommend sending it recorded.
  4. The product (s) must be returned in the same condition that we sent them out; unused, along with the original packaging, and manufacturer’s documentation.

ANTI-FOG COATINGS

  1. We do not guarantee any anti-fog coating for any product; this is because all lenses are treated to combat fogging in standard situations and not to guarantee 100% effectiveness in any condition. (Useful info: What our staff use at extreme-eyewear for cycling and skiing – Clarity Anti-Fog cloths.)
